How Our Monthly Racing Competitions Work
Our competition format is designed to be simple, fair, and highly addictive.
Step 1: Enter the Competition
Members receive monthly competition entries.
Each entry gives you an official timed run on our leaderboard track.
Step 2: Set Your Best Lap
Drive as many times as your entries allow and improve your ranking throughout the month. Want to improve your score?
Additional attempts are available.
Step 3: Climb the Leaderboard
Your fastest time counts.
Watch your position rise (or fall) as other competitors challenge your spot.
Step 4: Qualify for Finals
At the end of each month, the top drivers qualify for our VRACE Finals Night.
Step 5: Compete for the Win

Our main competition track is: Red Bull Ring
This world-class track offers the perfect balance of speed and technical skill, making it ideal for fair and competitive racing.
Formula V10 Gen 2
Slightly old-school, powerhouse F1 without the annoying halo. We chose this F1 car as it has a high amount of power, we lose out on the DRS however we gain with no restraint of view with the halo. Overall, this is an excellent model for competitions.

Finals Night Experience – Located in Perth
VRACE is conveniently located in Osborne Park, making it easy to access from anywhere in Perth.

Monthly Finals Rules
At the end of each month, the top competitors on the leaderboard are invited to compete in the VRACE Finals — a live event where the best drivers go head-to-head for prizes and the championship title.
Qualification
- The top 6 drivers on the monthly leaderboard qualify for finals
- Players must complete a minimum of 3 official competition runs during the month
- Only your fastest lap time counts toward qualification
- You must hold an active membership at the time of finals
👉 Finalists will be contacted and invited to compete
Finals Format
The finals are run as a live multi-race event, designed to test consistency, speed, and racecraft.
Format:
- All finalists compete in a series of races
- Each race is run over multiple laps
- Points are awarded based on finishing position
Points System
Points are awarded after each race:
- 1st place — 10 points
- 2nd place — 8 points
- 3rd place — 6 points
- 4th place — 5 points
- 5th place — 4 points
- 6th place — 3 points
- 7th place — 2 points
- 8th place — 1 point
- 9th–10th — 0 points
👉 The driver with the highest total points at the end wins
Race Rules
- All drivers use identical cars and settings
- Track conditions remain consistent for all races
- Any intentional collisions or unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in penalties or disqualification
- VRACE staff decisions are final
Starting Positions
- Grid positions are based on a 5 minute pre-race qualifier

- The player with the highest total points is crowned:

Prizes
Prizes are awarded to the top finishers, including:

Attendance
- Finalists must confirm attendance prior to the event
- If a player cannot attend, their position may be offered to the next eligible competitor. If multiple cannot attend, the event will be postponed.
Fair Play
VRACE is committed to fair and competitive play.
- All results are monitored and verified
- Any exploitation of game mechanics or unfair advantage may result in removal from the competition
- Intentional nudging, forcefully crashing into other cars that causes them a disadvantage will see that you get a time deduction penalty
